You don't seem to really _need_ the Adobe Flash player on https://markup-dev.allizom.org/en-US/about/evan-roth/, yet in a stock Firefox 4.01 build on Windows 7, you get prompted to download it. The video itself actually plays back fine, natively, in WebM.

Does it do the same thing on the GML video? https://markup-dev.allizom.org/en-US/about/gml/
GML falls back to the vimeo player if there's no support for the video tag, but Evan's falls back to the youtube player.

No, the experience is fine there.

Seems specific to youtube then.....Can we host Evan's video on vimeo then to get around this?
I could do some hacks to try to get around this, but as with all hacks, I'd rather not do them when there's a better way.

This bug isn't that critical, I don't think, and I'd rather not take the potential risk in fixing it. It only affects users who don't yet have Flash installed (a small subset of them) + potentially those who block Flash via FlashBlock, etc.

I'm going to call this a won't fix because it shouldn't affect too many people and those is does affect likely won't be surprised at getting this message.
