The market now supports black listing devices. We should use the market to black list the devices we've specifically listed as unsupported.

I told Stuart about this on irc, he may have already done it. But I wanted a bug to track it.

What happens if a device is blacklisted, do they see the product in store? Is it available via search? Is a dialog presented on attempt to install? What are the blacklisting capabilities based on, architecture or device by name?

Its the same experience as someone with a 1.6 device or a ARMv6 device as it stands. They don't see it in the market.

I don't know how they do the blacklisting under the covers, but the market now shows a list of all devices that can see your app and from there you can block individual devices.

Looking at the device list from the Android Market there is another Xperia X10 device, which is not blacklisted: the Xperia X10(SO-01B) (available in Japan).
