setting my home page doesn't stay set

On tools menu I use options to set my home page.
I'm using firefox 4.0.1
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. set the home page
2. browse the Internet.
3. Click home icon: firefox doesn't take me to my chosen homepage.
Actual Results:
Firefox doesn't take me to the homepage website I chose.
Expected Results:
Expect to click home icon and be taken to homepage that I chose.
I am bothered and very disappointed in your product

Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode?

Does nothing at all happen when you click the home icon, or do you get another page than the wanted one?
