User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1
Build Identifier:

There's nothing to manage in Activity Manager thus it should be called Activity Monitor.

Reproducible: Always
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
AN interesting idea but, aside from the fact that this distinction is fairlly cosmetic, I doubt this will happen because we'd need to change documentation, etc.

And the real solution, is to get action capability into the activity manager, like bug 476696

I suggest this is WONTFIX
Severity: normal → trivial

Yeah activity manager was intended to actually let you stop indexing etc. but it just hasn't been realized yet.
Can we dupe this to a bug that talks about adding action capability into the activity manager instead of wontfixing it?
