Matt, I have the authcodes and was going to transfer when I remembered I didn't ask you guys about DNS. whois tells me DNS now points to : NS67.DOMAINCONTROL.COM NS68.DOMAINCONTROL.COM We'd like to take over DNS as well, so if you can provide us the exisiting DNS entries, I'll move that over too and switch nameservers at the same time, so when the request goes through, there will be no outage on the site. Thanks!
Whiteboard: Waiting for DNS information
this is the info I have from godaddy: Nameservers Nameservers: (Last Update 2/24/2011) NS67.DOMAINCONTROL.COM NS68.DOMAINCONTROL.COM Set Nameservers Manage DS Records DNS Manager DNS Manager: (Available) A * 67.23.44.24 A @ 67.23.44.24
Thanks, I've initiated the transfer.

Matt, Can you remove this : The domain you wish to transfer is privacy protected. Please have the privacy option removed in order for the transfer to process.
done
Matt, You have an email from MarkMonitor to your gmail address, can you please respond? Thanks!
replied. Matt
Joe @ MarkMonitor says the transfer takes 7 days to go through once it's initiated, which was on May 26, so it should go through on June 2.
See Bug 661589. I think things went through but they busted DNS for the domain name.
>2011-05-31 Modification Inbound transfer completed Domain System >2011-06-02 Modification Changed nameservers from: [ns68.domaincontrol.com, ns67.domaincontrol.com] to: [ns1.mozilla.org, ns3.mozilla.org, ns2.mozilla.org] Dave Miller For future reference, the nameservers need to be changed to ours by the existing domain owner *before* the transfer takes place, for exactly this reason. I apologize for our failure to give you those instructions before it was put through. The change will take effect on the root-level nameservers within 15 minutes. However, those entries on the root servers carry a 24 hour time-to-live on them, which means any local nameservers at ISPs which have already cached it won't flush the old entries from their cache for up to 24 hours from whenever they cached it.
