User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1 Build Identifier: ChatZilla 0.9.86-rdmsoft [XULRunner 1.9.2.13/20101203074205] ZNC (with the buffextras module) displays the join/part messages of users in whatever channels the user's IRC bouncer happens to be in. It displays them like this: <nickname>!<ident>@host has joined #<channel> cZ detects this as being an email, and treats it as such, which is highly inconvenient when scrolling through a log of a channel Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Attach to a ZNC server with the buffextras module loaded and a buffer where someone has joined, parted, etc. (or do something that would show users in the aforementioned format) 2. Look at the way cZ treats the hostmask Actual Results: The hostmask is treated as an email address. Expected Results: The hostmask shouldn't be treated as an email address Perhaps have it detect the ! between the nickname and ident?
