User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.1; U; ru) Presto/2.8.131 Version/11.10 Build Identifier: Firefox/3.6.3 When I working with Firefox more than 10 hours with lot of tabs (usually I have more then 20) it starting to consume more and more memory, up to 2 GB. With every hour Firefox become slower. It looks like memory leak, because Firefox restart helps Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.. Open more than 20 tabs 2. Work actively more than 10 hours without restart 3. See, how slow it is and how many memory consumed Actual Results: Firefox works very slowly Expected Results: Firefox works fast as usual Reproduced on different computers

Sigh. There's nothing that can be done with a bug report like this, without specific steps to reproduce etc ... How would you start to look for the error ? It's absolutely impossible. I suggest that you upgrade to Firefox 4.0.1 - many bugs have been fixed in the mean time. There's are still memory leaks of course, you can find a current list in bug 640452.

As a user I'd would rather upgrade to the latest 3.6.X browser than to any 4.0.X. Many tabs and a few hours runtime did not work for me with 4.0.1, however 3.6.16 can run for several days in my setting. I am looking forward to FF5 however, some major fixes seem to go in there.
