As I understand, a fresh install will show the new branding but not an update. Can you confirm?

This only happens on an LG Optimus 2X ? Other phones update correctly?

Yes Aaron and yes Mark. I'm going to make a few videos to show the behavior and post then here in a following comment.

From IRC, sounds like a reboot caused the new icon to appear. Something might be messed up with any icon cache the OS is using.

After that reboot I installed again the 5/13 build and updated to today's build and this is what I get now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrpcI1DXATk&feature=channel_video_title And then again, I rebooted the device and all is fine. Icons are for nightly and name changed also from Fennec to Nightly.

I guess it's a caching issue as Mark suggests. I'm unable to reproduce on the Nexus One, going from 05/13 to 05/16, I see Nightly on my homescreen and application launcher after install. Marking as invalid
