Build Identifier: js-1.8.5
The naming of the latest source tar makes it difficult for package maintainers to keep up-to-date with the latest releases. Package managers like macports have mechanisms for easily updating to (and verifying) the latest release tar in open source projects.
Please use a naming convention like js-1.8.5.tar.gz for your public source releases.
P.S. Love the SpiderMonkey shell, thanks!
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. See link above.
Actual Results:
Unable to update package definition without disabling features like livecheck.
Expected Results:
Standard naming convention for release tar like js-{maj}.{min}.{rev}.tar.gz.
