In bug 573176, we implemented site permissions on a per-host basis, but nsILoginManager.findLogins only gets logins for a scheme+host+port URI prePath. Right now we're just getting logins for "http://"+host and "https://"+host, but this can miss some edge cases, so it would be optimal to have a new API for this.
about:permissions has been removed in bug 933917.
