I'd like to be able to set this flag on bugs in the 'Server Ops: RelEng' component.

The colo-trip flag is currently set to inactive and is not usable for bugs. I am not sure why but someone must have decommissioned it. glob, justdave, any information on the colo-trip flag? dkl
Ah right. Thanks for the clarification. Yes, to set the colo-site flag you need to be in the 'infra' group which I have now added you to. dkl

No, releng people are not allowed in the infra group.

It does make sense for releng people to have access to this flag though. We should probably make a new group for the flag permissions and make it inherit both build and infra
Apologize for that. Should we create a colo-site system group then and add both groups to it? I can then make the code change needed to support it. dkl
actually, reed just pointed out on IRC that we're already using code to enforce this, and it's not a setting in the UI. In which case, we can just make the code look for either group.
'build' group added to setters for the colo-site flag. Committing to: bzr+ssh://bjones%40mozilla.com@bzr.mozilla.org/bmo/4.0/ modified extensions/BMO/lib/Data.pm Committed revision 7712.

Summary: Access to the 'colo-trip' Bugzilla flag → Grant releng the ability to set the colo-site flag
I still don't seem able to set colo-trip on e.g., bug 658414. Is that different from 'colo-site'?

(In reply to comment #10) > sorry, the change hasn't landed on production yet. You can watch http://bzr.mozilla.org/bmo/4.0/changes to see when it lands. The "current-production" tag is what it says, so as soon as that tag moves past r7712 this will be live. That might be tonight at some point, waiting to clarify a few things on irc.
