User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20110430 Firefox/4.0.1 Iceweasel/4.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20110430 Firefox/4.0.1 Iceweasel/4.0.1 While Firefox is busy loading a new page (Bottom left info showing things like "Connecting to..." and "Transferring data.."), I sometimes change my mind and want to stay on the current page. So I click on "Stop". However, Firefox then displays a blank page, instead of staying on the current page. Firefox should just stop loading the other page, and stay on the current page. In my interpretation of what should be the ideal function of the stop button, this is a bug. I.e. the stop button should just cause Firefox to stop doing whatever it is doing, and not change the displayed page. Reproducible: Always Actual Results: Expected Results: Firefox should just stop loading the other page, and stay on the current page.
