Build Identifier:
When I select a RSS fodler, and I right-click, Thunderbird enables only to set as "Marked" the items of this folder.
Reproducible: Always
Expected Results:
When I select RSS folders, and I right-click, I would like Thunderbird to enable me to set their items as "Unmarked".
Here is my use case:
- When folders contain "Unmarked" items, each folder is associate with a counter to let users know the number of items to read.
- When I have finished reading some items from different folders, I would like to set remaining items as "Unmarked" for the next time, and to know how much items there are in each folder.
- So, I would like to select all my RSS folders, and right-clicking them to set "Unmark (all) items".

If you don't do anything the unread items will stay in unread state until the next time - when you enter the folder.
If you want to make all items unread in a folder , enter the folder and select them all and mark unread from the menu.
I'm not sure I understand your use case, can you try to explain a bit more why you need this ?
