Hi there, I created custom categories using the Lightning options and assigned colors to these categories. In the "Tasks" tab I can include the "category" field, but the color of the category does not show up.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create new task category and assign it a color (Tools > Options > Lightning > Categories > Add > Check "use color" and select the color)
2. Create new task, assign a category for the task
3. Add "Category" field to the list where tasks are displayed (The small box on the right of the screen under the field that says "Click Here to Add a New Task)
Actual Results:
The text of the "Category" field remains black-and-white
Expected Results:
I was hoping that the text of the "Category" field would change to the color assigned to the category
I have seen similar bugs reported, but the answers offered have been far too complicated (e.g. not possible because of the various ways that the calendar color-codes items).
I know that it's possible to convert the Tasks to Events and that the Category color will be displayed in the calendar, but it would be nice if the text associated with "Category" in the Tasks list was the same as the color assigned to that category. Then there wouldn't be a conflict with the various other color-coding schemes but we could still group Tasks by color (using the Category to do the grouping).
