steps to reproduce:
1. Log in to AMO
2. Compare the newly redesigned header to zamboni


observed behavior:
Welcome message missing for logged-in users. See screenshot

This might be a wontfix since we merged the username with 'My Account' link. I'm filing for the sake of ensuring that these changes were intended.

The "Welcome, [You]" would be a nice touch, but probably isn't reasonable for the following reasons:

* Adding more text risks making the top-right bar too wide and overlapping
  content on the left, especially after l10n.

* The positioning of "Welcome" and the username might change during l10n,
  making implementation more difficult.

* The username needs extra padding on the left and right, which would push
  the "welcome" text too far away from the menu item.

There might be workarounds for these (except for #1), but I think they add too much complexity for a marginal return.
