User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 It is quite hard to tell whether a link has been clicked (i.e. the browser is busy loading the requested page) or not in Firefox 4. There should be an option that allows the mouse cursor to be turned into the activity cursor during page change. In the current state of FF4 (with the option ui.use_activity_cursor turned on ), when I hover over a link, click it and stay there, the hover cursor remains, which is irritating to some people including me (see discussion at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482985), i.e. it should change into the activity cursor all the time until the new page is loaded. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Hover link 2. Click 3. Stay there Actual Results: No busy/activity cursor Expected Results: Cursor turns to activity cursor

So what's the difference between the current bug and bug 482985?
Version: unspecified → Trunk
I see none, but Ngamer01 suggested to open a new feature request for FF4 (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482985#c106), which I did as this is an issue for me too.

Someone has (erroneously) declared that 482985 related only to version 3.x.

Resolution: --- → DUPLICATE
I'll make a quick clarification: The enhancement request was for Vova's suggestion here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=659573 Bug 482985 really was filed for the Fx 3.* series and users got said missing option back for Fx 4 (though they'd have to turn it on first). But I guess since 482985 hasn't been resolved yet, I guess I'm missing something here. If anyone wants to continue this, feel free to e-mail me directly instead of using Bugzilla.
