I have two different pairs of username and password saved for a page where the beginning of the URL is the same. The ending of the URL just alters a little, so these two pairs are valid for both popups where I need to insert them. Username and password are different!

Automatically the first pair is inserted into the popup query and if I try to select the other username (through typing the beginning of it) no menu is opened where I can choose it, so the other password + username is inserted.

I also tried to type the whole username and then change the textfield, but that also doesn't work.

The two sites are:
http://www.iaas.uni-stuttgart.de/lehre/vorlesung/aktuell/vorlesungen/modell/uebungen/
http://www.iaas.uni-stuttgart.de/lehre/vorlesung/aktuell/vorlesungen/modell/

I don't know if they can be reached from outside the network. So sorry if they can't.

I didn't find a real workaround except looking into the passwordmanager for the username and password and retype them into the popup query. But in my opinion that doesn't count.

It's different from this Bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=444333

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Save two passwords on the same site where the query is a popup.
2. Open the query and you won't be able to get the second password entered inserted.

Expected Results:
Give a menu to choose which pair of username and password should be used.

This sound more like an enhancement request - marking it as such.

This is my first submitted bug here so excuse me if I'm wrong.

I think it's not an enhancement request because it doesn't work as it's supposed to. If the password query isn't a popup the problem doesn't occure and in my opinion the password query of a popup and a "normal site" like for example gmail should work the same. But they don't.

Just to make sure I understand this, you're actually saying that when a pop-up window is displayed asking for the username and password of the user, there is no possibility of saving the credentials because no doorhanger is displayed?

Steps to reproduce this:
 1. Go to http://www.iaas.uni-stuttgart.de/lehre/vorlesung/aktuell/vorlesungen/modell/uebungen/
 2. Click on "Übungsblatt 1"
 3. Enter credentials

Actual results:
 - no way of saving the credentials
This also doesn't work, but that's _not_ the bug I meant. That's another bug I haven't submitted yet (sry for that) but maybe it has been submitted by another person.

My problem occures after two different passwords (and usernames) have been saved. When I want to look at the pdf another time with the password I saved as the second and the password should be entered by the password manager automatically. Then I should be able to choose this username. But there is no possibility to choose the username and it also doesn't work, when I enter the username manualy. Then the password isn't changed to the right one. Just to make this clear: The username + password pair I saved first is entered automatically every time I open the popup.

But yeah, the doorhanger (if you meant the possibility to choose what to enter in a textfield if you entered it before) is missing.

Excuse my english. I'm no native speaker.
