When I place a toolbarbutton between the urlbar and searchbar the urlbar-search-splitter vanishes, so the urlbar and searchbar can't be resized anymore. When I remove the button, urlbar-search-splitter is back again.

Examing it with DOM inspector shows that the urlbar-search-splitter is completely gone from the node list once a button is placed between urlbar and searchbar.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. View --> Toolbars --> Customize
2. Move any toolbarbutton between urlbar and searchbar
3.

Actual Results:
urlbar/searchbar can't be resized anymore

Expected Results:
urlbar/searchbar should still be resizable
You checked that the Splitter didn't move to the End by Chance?
That would be Bug 585946 then.

No, I've seen that bug already, but here the splitter completely disappears from the node list, so it's probably not related.
Severity: normal → S3
