When someone clicks on the file a bug link, in the data that is provided, Socorro should really include the version of the application the crash was filed against.

For bonus points, it could look through the database and see which versions a particular crash had been reported against, and state a summary in the bug (e.g. seen on 3.0 and 3.1).

However, just getting the basic version and maybe the branch of the application the crash was filed against would be useful - as I'd then be able to tell at a glance if it was a trunk crash or a branch crash.

I'd also like to see version cited next to bp-xxxx links when new bugs are filed. Right now I have to do it manually for all the bugs I create.

we've changed the information architecture in some ways that accomodate. it's probably incomplete. we're unlikely to make further investments here
