STR: 1. On non-Mac platforms set toolbar.customization.usesheet to true. 2. Shrink the Firefox window until the height is shorter than the customize panel and about the width or slightly wider than the panel. 3. Turn on the Addons bar. 4. Start customization. Actual results. Can't drag items to/from the addons bar or rearrange them. Expected results. The customize panel doesn't obscure the addons bar. The problem isn't as severe on non-mac platforms since the customize window is movable. Problem encountered while trying to implement SeaMonkey Bug 656056.
Okay, I've tested this on both Fedora 12 (x86) and Windows XP - I do not see the issue in Firefox 4 or latest Trunk Nightly.

if you turn the customize sheet on does the sheet/panel lie on top of the addons bar and can it or can't it be moved aside? Make sure that the Firefox window is smaller than the *panel* then right click on the addons bar and select "Customize..."

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:7.0a1) Gecko/20110526 Firefox/7.0a1 Ian, I see the problem. I'll try to use my retired teacher's abilities to reformulate the steps in comment #0 (if it makes any difference, I'm on Linux): Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In about:config, make sure toolbar.customization.usesheet is set to true. (Filtering on "sheet" is useful.) 2. View → Toolbars → [x] Add-on Bar (Make sure the checkbox is on) 3. Right-click the add-on bar → Customize 4. Resize the Firefox window to make it slightly smaller than the widgets customization sheet 5. Close the sheet 6. Repeat step 3. Actual results: The add-on bar is now completely covered by the sheet and cannot be customized. Expected results: The customization sheet should have resized itself (with scrollbars if necessary) to leave the add-on bar in view.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
Must remember to fuel up (i.e. eat) before reading, I completed missed the original step 3. I do see this on both Windows XP and Fedora 12.

We no longer have the add-ons bar and no longer have the customizations panel, so marking as WFM.
