Steps to reproduce: 1. Sign up as a new member for support.mozillamessaging.com 2. Receive welcome email with activation link 3. Click on the activation link Expected Result: Account activated Actual Result: "Something is wrong We could not activate your account. Please make sure that you have clicked the correct link in your email or typed in the correct address. " Unfortunately this is an intermittent problem and doesn't always happen. Perhaps due to some sort of timing or db or server issue?

yes, the problem is intermittent, i just registered using gmail (user sslu) and was able to activate my account by clicking on the link the user who had this problem was also a gmail user which may or may not be relevant

So the accounts of everyone who has reported this bug have always been active as far as I know. Is it possible the error message is being displayed in... error? IE the account gets activated but for some reason the site returns an error?
