Elena, could you please let us know what Mozilla build you are using? What particular type of mouse is this? (There are known problems with particular scroll mouse drivers.) Is the third button somehow bound to the "back" function?

Mozilla 0.7 Mouse - Memorex 3-button with scrolling 'Back' button set up with WHEEL SCROLL PRO V1.0 as Internet Backwards

Back button will only work if the company that made it put support for Mozilla. Since Netscape 6 probably didn't even exist when they made the drivers, I doubt the back button would be supported. As for the wheelmouse, there are already bugs about that.

I am not entirely sure of what I just said BTW - but I am pretty sure. Dupe of bug 22254? Maybe not. Reporter: Is this bug always reproducible? Can you scroll with other mice if you have access to them? Does the scroll work in IE?

These are two separate problems (the scrolling not working, and the back button not working). For the scrolling problems please see bug 20618. The back/forwards button problems (assuming this works similarly to an intellimouse) are covered in bug 30431. Picking the latter of these to mark a dup of. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 30431 ***
