The 'move to' drop down list in Thunderbird filters is not wide enough to display the folder names. This is particularly true for nested folders. The drop down list need to have more display space or to be sized based on the content.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a filter
2. Select move to
3. Try to select a nested folder - perhaps 3 or 4 deep with descriptive names.
Actual Results:
Can't see the folder name
Expected Results:
Need to see the complete folder name

I've been able to work around this by resizing the message filter window before making a selection from the drop-down list, though sometimes I have to guess which folder is which. A better fix would be if moving the pointer over the icon of a folder caused the full folder name to display as a tool-tip, as it already does when the folder name is too long to display in the left column of Thunderbird's main window.

Resizing the filter window does not accomplish the task - folders are still invisible. I also disagree with the display as an icon rollover suggestion. I don't want to search / wait to identify the folder. If it's a problem to make the folder selection list wider, (and I can't imagine how that would be a problem) then make the the drop down list re-sizable.
