The Browser nad/or Profile manager will not start

Details
After a clean boot, the software works great. However, if I run other apps, or
close the browser and re-open it, it will NOT run. It DOES show up as a
running task if I do a CNTRL-ALT-DEL. I then must choose END TASK 3 or 4 times
in order to close the application. It will not run again until I reboot. The
previous version did not appear to have this problem. Interesting side note:
The released version of Netscape 6 acts exacltly the same! The Beta versions
of Netscape 6 did not do this!
reporter: please follow bug reporting guidelines, this includes entering your
buildid. if possible i would appreciate it if you could familiarize yourself
with filemon.exe from systinternals.com also if you can figure out if all apps
interfere with mozillla or only some. [Does notepad? does mplayer.exe? does
mspaint.exe? does clock.exe? does outlookexpress? do games?]
