User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:7.0a1) Gecko/20110601 Firefox/7.0a1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:7.0a1) Gecko/20110601 Firefox/7.0a1 The download progress bar in the Nightly builds look much brighter than its native Windows counterpart. Either the gradients are off, or it just has higher brightness/contrast. In any case, it looks way too bright and hurts the eyes. I've uploaded screenshots so you can compare the brightness. The native progress bar looks much more pleasing. Reproducible: Always

It's not only brighter. Firefox has also an ugly white strips at the top and the bottom of progress bar (probably it's not fitted properly). This bug has more than 6 months and it's still not fixed... I thought it will be easy to fix...
Depends on: 726144
I think it's the clipping that's throwing the brightness off, in which case this will get fixed by bug 658885.
