NSS 3.1 opens the cert and key db's read only even if you call NSS_InitReadWrite. I believe this is the same bug Ian found and fixed on the trunk. For PSM 2.0, we're still currently using NSS 3.1, so this affects our work. I'd like to move Ian's fix to the branch so that we can continue work on PSM 2.0 Patch coming shortly.

This patch is fine. Javi, you can go ahead and check it in on the NSS_3_1_BRANCH.
