A possible Dev Derby author emailed me explaining that he could not get CSS3 animations to work in Firefox 4. Sheppy confirmed that CSS3 animations are new in Firefox 5. * Write copy explaining the CSS3 animations are new to Firefox 5, and that authors should develop for Beta or Aurora * Add copy as a note on the Dev Derby website

The author who sent me the original email was also wondering if he should provide a notice with his demo that it only works in Firefox 5 Beta. Would it make sense to add a note somewhere on the June Derby pages that explains that Firefox 5 is needed not only for development, but also for viewing? For now, I'll change the title of this bug accordingly. Please let me know if there are any objections.
Summary: On Dev Derby site, add note about developing for Firefox Beta or Firefox Aurora → On Dev Derby site, add note about developing and viewing June demos in Firefox Beta or Aurora

Let's add the following to the page(s): 1. Dev Derby "Current Challenge" after the main paragraph and before the last line: NOTE: Firefox 5 will introduce support for CSS3 Animations. You should use the Firefox Beta or Aurora channel for this Dev Derby. Your demo will not work in Firefox 4. 2. Under the June Dev Derby checkbox in smaller text: Firefox 5 will introduce support for CSS3 Animations. You should use the Firefox Beta or Aurora channel to test and view your demo (it will not work in Firefox 4). I would like to try to push this out in our next 0.9.5.2 push if we can... since it looks like 0.9.6 will be delayed. Les: Can we get these edits made and ready for the next push? Thanks.

Also, if this looks good, we'll need to re-extract strings for l10n after the push
