The information in http://www-archive.mozilla.org/projects/plugins/plugin-identifier.html is nowhere to be found on the wiki (https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Plugins). Suggest adding this information to https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Gecko_Plugin_API_Reference/Plug-in_Development_Overview 

Currently the plug-in development overview page ("Windows Installation Using the Registry" section) only uses "plugin-name" as the key under MozillaPlugins without mentioning that a specific identifier format is required.
