Hi, I'd like access (preferably locked down to my user) to run ./manage.py commands on input's staging (and in the future dev) environments. As I understand it this is something that happens on PAMO.
This needs some manager approval. cshields is cc'd, I'll bring it to his attention tomorrow
approved, assigning to jake to make it happen. keep in mind that this access will be restricted to -dev once we get it setup, since input.allizom (stage) will be a replica of prod in process and access

There is a small problem with this... input.allizom.org runs on a shared staging server. It's not like AMO where they have a dedicated preview.amo box. I don't think cshields knew this when he approved it. I'll talk this over with him and we'll come up with a gameplan. The long term goal is still to have a separate dev environment which you would naturally have access to. One solution might just be to accelerate that a bit, but I don't know how feasible that is.
Closing this out. After some irc discussions with cshields and davedash, the typical solution for this is to grant temporary access on request. This was done, and davedash was able to get into the server with it. Puppet will clean up the temporary access for us automatically, so no need for this to stay open for tracking.
