Hi Rainer / Grace

Following the launch of Add-on builder next week, I would like to start a 6 week long campaign/project to promote how easy it is to build add-ons.

Next week I will be sending out an email to Mozilla employees (all@mozilla), asking them to volunteer to create an Add-on using the Add-on Builder. For every employee who takes part, I would like to film a short interview (around 1-2 mins long), with the following sections:

1. Introduction of the Mozilla employee - where are they from, what do they do etc.
2. Add-on idea - inspiration, use cases
3. How they made the add-on using the Add-on Builder (screen-casting)

These videos will then be posted on the MDN blog on a weekly basis under the title "Mozilla Add-on Developer stories"

I would expect we would have the first entries in by July 1st, and then to begin filming and posting the videos online the following week (4th July onward).

hi dan.
how many videos would this be in total?
let's talk about this a bit more as this sounds as a pretty big project.
we need to understand the number of videos and the timing in between each video.
i also think 1st of july is a very aggressive date to target given webdev is out the whole week next week.

let's schedule a time to chat, brainstorm and discuss this project a bit more.

thanks!

One per week for six weeks, so six in total

It doesn't need to be - Rainer and I chatted about this, and we're thinking VERY rough and ready. None of the polish from the video we've done with David and Daniel.

As above - production starting July 4th (5th as it's a holiday), and being posted by the end of each week.

Ok - we can delay in that case. Let me know when you think would be best to kick off.

Cool - will ping you on Skype tomorrow.
