User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.17) Gecko/20110422 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6.17 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.17) Gecko/20110422 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6.17 It would be better if when firefox tells you to upgrade it also checks which extensions / plugins are NOT compatible with the new version. At the moment you only find out after the upgrade, and it you have to downgrade if an extension is not working and essential. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Firefox tells you there is an upgrade available 2. Perform the upgrade 3. Firefox tells you after the upgrade that a plugin / extension is not compatible with the new version Actual Results: Extension doesn't work after upgrade Expected Results: Warned before upgrade that extension will not work after upgrade Not a huge bug, but a colleague had the idea, and I thought it was worth reporting as a bug. Thanks
