Gerv, could you remove any inactive pages in the MPL section of the site? If there are pages that are relevant but haven't been edited in a while, it is certainly fine to keep those.

It would be good to remove no longer needed pages though. For instance, the roadshow/ files look like they are for a presentation Mitchell gave in 2002 and those could probably be safely archived.

Archiving any files doesn't mean they would be gone -- it just takes the pages off of the production site and redirects people to the archive site. So if we removed the roadshow/ files someone who tried that link would go to:

http://www-archive.mozilla.org/MPL/roadshow/

A listing of all files in the directory can be found at:

Hi David,

The MPL section of the site is currently undergoing a revamp prior to the launch of the MPL 2. We plan to remove a lot of old content as part of that update. There's no deadline, but we hope we'll be able to launch in the next quarter. Is it OK if we wait until that happens?

Gerv
Gerv, that sounds fine. Glad to hear removing old content is in your plans.
Component: www.mozilla.org → General
Product: Websites → www.mozilla.org
This part of the site was reorganized on the launch of MPL 2 and old content removed.
