Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1

Firefox had not yet been started.
I was in Microsoft Outlook and clicked a link to Amazon feedback.
Firefox initialised, immediately showing the Amazon feedback pages which I processed.
I could not then backout of the Amazon pages to get to the Firefox start page which would have allowed me to restore the previous session tabs.
Exited Firefox and re-entered it.
Clicked 'Restore previous session tabs' button.
The Amazon feedback pages were displayed instead of my original session tabs
The result - Previous Session Tabs lost.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start Windows XP. Start MS Outlook.
2.Start MS Outlook.
3.Click link to Amazon feedback pages and give feedback.
4.Click green back arrow at top left below File option on menu.
5.Exit Firefox and restart Firefox.
6.Clicked 'Restore previous session tabs' button.

Actual Results:
After step 4. Cannot get to Firefox start page hence unable to restore previous session tabs.
After step 6. The Amazon feedback pages were displayed instead of my original session tabs.
The result - Original 'Previous Session Tabs' lost.

Expected Results:
Firefox should have initialised at its start page, showing the Amazon feedback pages in a separate tab to the tab containing the 'Restore previous session tabs' button.
"Restore Previous Session" is also available in the history menu (history under the firefox button). Obviously if you forget before you quit again, that's still not ideal. Bug 664314 should help though.

Also, if you still have the home button on your toolbar, you can press that to go to your home page, if going to the menu is too easy to forget.
