opening FF causes multiple sessions to appear and looses last session

When I open FF, 4 to 7 sessions are opened at once.  Also, last saved session disappears.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on FF icon
2.

Actual Results:  
FF opens from 4 to 7 start pages.  Last session lost.

Expected Results:  
Open 1 session and show last, saved, session.
Version: unspecified → 4.0 Branch
Is the Issue reproducible when you close all but one Tab, open "about:sessionrestore" and hit "Start New Session" and move on?

Reporter, are you still experiencing this issue? Did you had the chance to try what was suggested in Comment 1?
Upgraded to FF 5, still had problem.  Disabled addons Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar 5.0.1 and X-Marks 3.9.10 and problem went away.
