Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Close firefox window with top left X (on macs) Firefox remains open in menu bar below 2. Right click firefox icon - select QUIT 3. Apps gone (if you have firefox open and not step 1 - apps dont go). If you use Firefox Menu (top left of desktop) then QUIT - app tabs stay. Actual Results: App tabs vanish. Expected Results: App tabs dont vanish. https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/825628#answer-202340 - BigSeanPUK Ive detailed the error here in response to the support question.

I've read cor-el response and I agree, this is not a bug. If you close Firefox from "Quit", the apptabs remain. If you close Firefox from "x" the session remains and if you "quit" , Firefox restarts in home page because you closed the session, loosing the apptabs from that session. So , in my opinion this is not a bug. Can you please change the status of this bug tu Resolved Invalid. thx

Marking VERIFIED for now. However, it's debatable whether App tabs should exist independent of sessions. That discussion is taking place on another bug (I can't seem to remember the number right now though).
