1. Open ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/ in one Mozilla window. 2. Open ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/ in a second Mozilla window. 3. Try to drag an item from one window to the other. Result: While dragging over the first window, you get a "no-drop" cursor, but items and spaces between items are highlighted as you drag over them (as if you could drop the thing you're dragging there). While dragging over the second window, you get a normal "dragging" cursor and the same highlighting occurs. Dropping on either window doesn't actually do anything.

Um... This is sort-of invalid now that ftp doesn't use the XUL viewer by default. I just left the drag and drop stuff alone when I touched the dir viewer.

Dropping on the second window loads the url, which is arguably correct, I guess You're right about the first window though. I need some way to turn the ui feedback off (the separator line, + teh folder-highlighting) in that window. blake, ben: how do I do that?

->0.9.9 If ben or blake or someone could answer my question (or come up with a patch :) it would be good.

This won't happen til the outliner rewrite stuff, and the XUL viewer will be disabled for 1.0 anyway -> 1.1
