Who is the idiot that has developed software that detects where you are logging in from and sets the language to that place??? Imagine one travels to China and logs ind to google - what on earth is a guy to do with a chinese page??? In the old days, one could set the language for download of Firefox, Thunderbird and Filefox on the front page. I am not able to find how to set the download language for Firefox mobile to english - it will only do Swedish or Danish. Help!!!
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Download Firefox mobile in foreign language country
2.See how it changes the default to that contry's language
3.

Google is doing that, based on the ipaddress. You can easily force google in another language with the link at the bottom of the initial page (English will always be one of the options). That will set a cookie, which should remember it for you. Unfortunately, if the you clear the cookies, it will not be remembered. You can find more languages if you can see the "Language Tools" link, also at the initial page (right of the search-field, bottom link).
On a mobile page (like m.google.dk), it all looks a bit different though, since you can indeed not see the word 'English' anywhere (not particularly useful). There's a language selector in one of the bottom links (Skift sprog in Danish, Byt språk in Swedish).
Of course, it would help if Google properly used the Accept-Language header, which it doesn't, except in some special cases (it's used in Belgium to distinguish between Dutch and French)
But anyway, this is not a Mozilla bug.
