Not sure if this is something to do with Ubuntu's theme or not, but the buttons in Thunderbird looks a bit different from the ones in the Nautilus file manager.
Need to figure out what's going on here.

So looking a bit more at this, it seems the kind of buttons Thunderbird uses right now is also present in several places in the system, so considering marking this as FIXED, WORKSFORME
