Please remove the mention of "5" from the What's New page. Example: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/5.0/whatsnew/

Top line of copy should instead read: 
"You are now running the latest version of Firefox" (or whatever Matej decided in Bug 666763)

If someone downgrades it should read: 
Whatever is decided in Bug 666763
