+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #449607 +++

Bug 449607 changed the way in which the dated directories are done on ftp, we got this because build/tools repo isn't versioned. However, this also broke update snippets because we didn't get the buildbot patch incorporated.

You can see with this url that our latest update snippets are still doing the dated dir format:

Also landed post_upload.py patch on staging server.  Staging nightly build uploaded correctly.

CCing Callek just so that the same error won't happen on the SeaMonkey side (we're using tagging build/tools though, I think).
