http://www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/firefox/customize/ should redirect to http://www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/customize/ like it does on production. Trunk currently goes to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/?browse=featured and from searching bugzilla, I couldn't find any bug on file to switch from the current process on production to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/?browse=featured
r91369, r91371 on trunk
r91399 makes the redirect ignore urls with no locale code like mozilla.com/firefox/customize so as to do locale detection first and not redirect for English.
that is part of my work for locales on bug 666937, I also fixed bug 667090 in r91399
