1. go to http://mobile.nytimes.com/article?a=809487&f=20
2. go to a line that has white space above and below for easier visibility in this bug
3. try to tap on a word

Expected: it's easy to get the correct selected word
Actual: sometimes the highlight might not appear, sometimes it appears on the word above or below.

Note: Selecting the white space above will select the last word in that line before the white space

in the video you're pretty clearly pressing on the white space there between the lines. What would you expect fennec to do?
Fennec is doing exactly what we are telling it to do. If you were to double click in desktop firefox in the same places, you would see the same results.
