I think we should consider a change to blog.mozilla.com or a other site (maybe planet) but not link to mozillazine. Mozillazine is not a official mozilla site (also MozillaZine's news site has gone into hibernation).
Tomcat, good point. It doesn't matter if Mozillazine is an official site or not, but the fact that it no longer has current news is an issue. I'm all for pointing that link to Planet or somewhere else that makes sense. CC'ing some other people with more wiki access than I do.
blog.mozilla.com would be a great place to point for mozilla news. thx for filing the bug, tomcat!
Where is this link of which you speak? Gerv
(In reply to comment #3) > Where is this link of which you speak? > > Gerv hey gerv, just go to https://wiki.mozilla.org/Main_Page (or any other wiki page) and then on the left side in the "navigation" box. called "Mozilla News" - 3rd point
For me, it's called "Current Events" (I am using the default 'gmo' skin). Perhaps we should rename it? Anyway, this seems a fine change to me. Gerv
These links are not hardcoded in the template, but are in db. Some of the Mozilla Wiki admins need to do this. CCing reed.
(In reply to comment #7) > Done on wiki: > https://wiki.mozilla.org/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Currentevents- > url&action=history done, thanks justin!
