This started a few days ago.  I was ignoring it because I thought it was part of the planned downtime, but it hasn't gone away (and reappears every few minutes).  The full error is:

  Sync encountered an error while syncing: Failed to connect to the server.  Sync will automatically retry this action. [Sync Now]

I have both of these set to True in my about:config:

 services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnError
 services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess

Attached is the latest log from yesterday

Looks like your network connection is dropping part-way through a large download. What kind of connection are you on?

cable modem (comcast).  I can restart the cable modem at some point and see if it helps.  I do see this problem on multiple computers (on the same network).
Ah, Comcast, I remember them :D

Please attempt to get a repro on a different network if you can.

I've rebooted all kinds of stuff and this seems to have worked itself out.
