User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/12.0.742.100 Safari/534.30
Steps to reproduce:
I had selected only unread messages (as the folder is very large). In the view, there is one thread, and one non-threaded message. Select the non-threaded message and collapse the threads using \.
Actual results:
The threads are collapsed, but an empty message is shown as the first message. This message cannot be selected, and is invisible when expanding threads again
Expected results:
The blank unselectable message should not have been "created"
Oh.. And if I scroll the window, the message disappears.

Can you reproduce at will ?
Does it happens in -safe-mode too (see http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/Safe-Mode) ?
When you reproduce anything in Tools -> Error console ?
