Build 20010126, Linux 2.2.14 i686, RedHat 6.1 When I downloaded the JRE plugin, it got done with downloading, and then it gets stuck, with the progress bar doing the "barber pole stripes" thing, then cancel button greyed-out, and the throbber in the main window going (but the throbber in the "Install Software" window inactive). Clicking on the window-manager "close" button doesn't do anything, but the reset of the browser is responsive. I restarted the browser, and then tried opening the jre.xpi file off of the filesystem. Once I click on "OK" for installing, it jumps right into the stuck behavior I just described. This is with a copy of Mozilla that's been unpacked into a user directory, rather than being installed in /usr or /opt or the like, but I don't think that this should make a difference. (This might be a dup of bug 61049, but it seems to be different).
Well, looks like this has been fixed in the 2001012806 build. Marking WORKSFORME.
