Steps to reproduce:

double click on the bookmark icon in the awesome bar


Actual results:

The last used folder (aka directories), only 5 are listed because the window is too small, and cannot be re-sized


Expected results:

Need a setting about:config, or in the pref, or simply a control on the window (drag) to increase the height of the window.

It's inconvenient to have to select several times a different directory, while there is enough screen estate to display a list of the most 10 or 20 last used directories

(and yes, I do use tags, but directories do also have a purpose to group my bookmark)

Hello. Thanks for the feedback. 2 print-screens added with my request.

To sum up my feeling:

The latest FF builds (FF4/FF5) look as if the browser was designed (an locked in) for small portable devices in mind (e.g. i-toy, or netbook) and not for "average" notebooks anymore. Read my comment as a kind or "rant" if you like, but I work with notebooks. With "standard" screens ranging from 14' or 15' (below you can hardly work, below, it gets heavy), I would rather these bookmark windows to accommodate better the screen estate.

Firefox 17.01

The bookmark this page from the address bar is still a pain. Why those ridiculous small windows? What's the average LCD screen? 11'~14'. It looks like if these windows size were designed for smart phones.

On this version FF 17, I have to 
1. bookmark
2. edit this bookmark
3. click on the arrow in the edit this bookmark windows to display all the directory
4. select a directory (the window size is still very small)

why not

1. bookmark
2. edit this bookmark
3. select a directory directly in the first (scrolling) window of the height max of the main FF window.
