Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20110608 Firefox/4.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.1
Build ID: 20110608021133

Steps to reproduce:

Domaine permissions (define cookies, display images...) are deleted (select line and press delete).

Actual results:

The 'by default' box for the permission becomes ticked and the line remains present.
If another domaine is selected and then the modified one redisplayed, its list of permissions is updated.
If _all_ the permissions for a domaine are deleted (and no associated data of any kind is left), it remains in the domaine list. If the manager is closed then re-opened the domaine list is updated.

Expected results:

A permission line should disappear when it is deleted.
A domaine should disappear when it no longer has any associated data.
Not sure I understand, & don't seem able to duplicate.

1. open about:data
2. select Permissions only from drop-down
(mozilla.net & mozilla.org display as Domains)
3. highlight mozilla.net (Domain)
4. hit Del key
(a "Forget" tab opens)
5. click the Permissions box in the Forget tab
6. click 'Forget This Data' button
(mozilla.net is removed from the Domain list)

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:5.0) Gecko/20110706 Firefox/5.0 SeaMonkey/2.2

(There do appear to be some "refresh" related issues in Data Manager, but I am not seeing it in this case.)

Yes...

> (mozilla.net & mozilla.org display as Domains)

Didn't have anything for 'mozilla.net' so I added: 'Allow session cookies'.
'mozilla.net' and 'mozilla.org' now appear as separate entries in the list.

> 3. highlight mozilla.net (Domain)

Highlight 'mozilla.net', then highlight the (single) 'Define cookies' line and press 'Delete'.
'By default' is now ticked and the other options grayed out: the line remains.

Select 'mozilla.org' then come back to 'mozilla.net' (dropdown: 'All types of data').
The right pane shows 'Permissions' (with all the other tabs grayed out) and is now completely empty. 'mozilla.net' is still in the list.

I have some difficulties to understand reporter's problem. I modified Summary to that what I understand.

Not reproducible for me with EN-US SeaMonkey 2.33.1 (German Language pack) Gecko/20100101 Build 20150321194901 (Default Theme) on German WIN7 64bit, domain vanishes after all Permissions have been deleted

@Reporter: Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you still can reproduce with a current SeaMonkey version and if you can contribute a step by step instruction (containing every key press and every mouse click) how to reproduce the problem reliably.
