User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/535.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu/11.04 Chromium/14.0.813.0 Chrome/14.0.813.0 Safari/535.1 Steps to reproduce: Upgraded from thunderbird 3.x to thunderbird 5 Actual results: Now mail continues to give a notification sound but no longer pops up an informational window. Expected results: It should pop up an informational window. I checked and preferences->show an alert is still checked as are all 3 fields in the customization.
After a few more days of use, I see that it does sometimes notify with the popup. Sometime I get sound, sometimes popup, sometimes both. I'm talking about notifications not solicited with a manual "get mail" button.
