STR: On up to date Mac OS X Aurora build go to http://www.discontinuously.com/2011/07/animating-about-memory/ and while watching the video right-click on it, select full screen. The video expands to full screen and continues playing for a few seconds and then snaps back to regular view of the web page with small video again (still playing). Expected results: The video would play in full screen mode until user changes view back to normal (or perhaps the video ends) Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:6.0a2) Gecko/20110704 Firefox/6.0a2
i'm not able to reproduce with aurora 7.0a2 (2011-07-11) on OS X 10.6.8 (flash version 10,3,181,34). video plays until end or until the esc key is pressed or screen loses focus. also, could not reproduce on FF5 or FF4...
I just updated Aurora and tried again, still happening Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:7.0a2) Gecko/20110711 Firefox/7.0a2
Also reproduced in Beta: Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0
maybe hardware specific? can you post your hardware information?
I'm closing a lot of bugs which are filed as Adobe Flash bugs which are either irrelevant, not actionable, or not serious enough to track in the Mozilla bug tracker. For the most part, Flash bugs should be filed in Adobe bugbase, and we'll only track a few highly-critical issues in the Mozilla tracker.
